St. "Practice" Day

Oh, how plans changed for this wonderful day! Being Irish, I LOVE St. Patrick's Day! It has become a tradition that we (a group of friends and family) go to Sean Kelly's on St. Patrick's Day (or St. "Practice" Day if the festivities are before March 17th) and we enjoy food and drink and friends. This year we signed up for the Run For the Luck of It 5k. Greg was going to run with one of our friends, while my mom and I were going to walk with her 15 month old son in his stroller. We got to Sean Kelly's at 10 for registration, and it was packed! Plus, it was FREEZING outside...too cold for the baby! Plus our friend Kirsten was still recovering from a cold! Plus my knees are KILLING me from my RA flaring up! So.....our 5k consisted of us putting our race numbers on, taking our race numbers off and sitting right there in Sean Kelly's enjoying food and drink and friends! I love this tradition...we had such a great time!
