I woke up to a sunrise that I could not believe this morning. The most vibrant colors I have every seen with the fishing boats jockeying for the best spot in the ocean. And you see sunrise from the very moment the sun cracks the Earth's surface here. As you stare out at the ocean for as far as the eye can see you can understand why scholars used to think you would fall off the edge. It truly seems like we have arrived at the very tip of the earth. Looking out is like viewing a giant infinity pool.
Today was a busy day. Greg and I signed up for a timeshare presentation at a new property, Casa Dorada. We mainly did it to get our taxi fare to and from the resort paid for, but I really ended up enjoying it. It was really fun to tour the property and it was AMAZING. My mom also came with us to the presentation, which I think she also enjoyed! After the timeshare we did a little bit of browsing around the marina and then met up with my dad after his SCUBA adventure. We enjoyed a round of drinks at the Going Nowhere Bar and then off to lunch at my dad's favorite restaurant, Los Deseos. The food here is so fresh! The guacamole is AMAZING! I really did not want to stop eating my lunch even though I was STUFFED! Greg will tell you that's a miracle in itself as I rarely finish my whole plate.
After we got back to the resort Greg and I went for a walk on the beach to end the evening...What a wonderful day!
