Greg and I took an impromptu day off together. With him in school and working in retail and me working a typical 9-5 we are often like two ships passing. Therefore, any quality time we can capture is a very valuable thing! We kind of puttered around the house for most of the morning and into the early afternoon. Then we went to The Great Pumpkin Patch. It is hosted every year by the Missoula Alliance Church by our home. This year proceeds went to medical care for a country in Africa. We searched and searched for the "perfect pumpkins." At one point Greg asked, "What do you think constitutes a 'perfect pumpkin?'" My response? "Round and orange?" I think we got THE perfect pumpkins. After the pumpkin shopping we headed down to The University of Montana residential neighborhood and took a little walk. I love Missoula and I especially LOVE the University area in the fall time. There is just nothing better than fresh fall air, a little bit of sunshine poking through the clouds and the sound of leaves rustling. We picked out all of our favorite features of the University homes to create our dream home...Greg wants brick, I want a porch...we're not too picky! Now we are just sitting down to eat pizza with my parents. The boys are going to watch Monday Night Football...Greg's Redskin's are playing. My mom and I are going to carve the pumpkins.
Cheers!
